Itinerary
Day 1: Costa del Sol or Other Points to Tangier (230 km)
Begin your journey with a departure from the Costa del Sol, crossing the Strait of Gibraltar to arrive in Tangier. Upon arrival in Morocco, embark on a guided sightseeing tour of Tangier's surroundings, including the mystical Grottoes of Hercules (entrance fee 6€, not included) and the scenic Cape Spartel. Return to the city for some free time to enjoy lunch before checking into your hotel. In the afternoon, you have the option to join an extra excursion to Tetouan. Conclude the day with dinner and an overnight stay at your hotel in Tangier.
Day 2: Tangier to Volubilis, Meknes, and Fez (350 km)
After breakfast, travel through the picturesque Middle Atlas to reach Fez. The first stop is Volubilis, where you'll explore its impressive Roman ruins, including the Decumanus Maximus and the Triumphal Arch of Caracalla from 217 A.D. Continue to Meknes, an imperial city that once served as the capital of Morocco under the reign of Moulay Ismail. Wander through its medina, El-Hedim Square, and the stunning Bab Al Mansour gate. Arrive in Fez in the late afternoon, check into your hotel, and enjoy dinner and lodging.
Day 3: Fez
Start your day with breakfast, followed by a comprehensive tour of Fez, Morocco's intellectual capital. Begin with a panoramic view of the royal palace, Dar Al-Makhzen, with its iconic seven gates. Dive into the labyrinthine medina of Fez El Bali, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, featuring 785 mosques and over 2,000 alleys. Discover the ancient craftsmanship in neighborhoods like the tanners' and the metalworkers' quarters. Visit a Medersa and witness traditional copper hammering. Enjoy lunch at a typical restaurant and spend the afternoon at your leisure, with an optional guided tour of the medina and local crafts. Dinner and overnight at your hotel.
Day 4: Fez to Casablanca and Marrakech (545 km)
After breakfast, depart for Marrakech with a stop in Casablanca, the economic heart of Morocco. Enjoy lunch along Casablanca's famous Corniche and take some time to visit the magnificent Hassan II Mosque (optional interior visit), renowned for its stunning architecture and craftsmanship. Continue to Marrakech, arriving in the afternoon. Check into your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 5: Marrakech
After breakfast, explore Marrakech, another of Morocco's imperial cities. Visit the Koutoubia Mosque, a symbol of the city, and the opulent Bahia Palace, crafted by artisans from Fez in the 19th century. Wander through the Jewish Quarter (Mellah), the vibrant Kissaria, and the world-famous Djamaa El Fna Square, a UNESCO World Heritage site bustling with storytellers, snake charmers, and entertainers. Explore the souks, discovering workshops and a Berber pharmacy. Enjoy lunch at a typical restaurant and spend the afternoon at your leisure, with options for additional activities. Dinner and overnight at your hotel.
Day 6: Marrakech to Rabat (320 km)
After breakfast, depart for Rabat, the administrative capital and royal family's official residence. Enjoy lunch en route. Upon arrival, visit the city's key landmarks, including the unfinished Hassan Tower, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, and the picturesque Kasbah of the Oudayas overlooking the Buregreg River. Stroll through the Kasbah's gardens and narrow streets. Dinner at leisure and overnight at your hotel.
Day 7: Rabat to Tangier and Costa del Sol (480 km)
After breakfast, depart for Tangier to begin your return journey to Spain. Upon arrival, you will receive assistance from our staff and be transferred back to the Costa del Sol. This marks the end of our services.
